To innundate; overwhelm. Deluge is an ongoing photo series exploring the personification of anguish as a suffocating entity and reflecting upon the process of healing. Based on the song After Me The Deluge by Deerhoof︎︎︎, this collection compares turbulent emotion to natural disasters and the rhythmic currents of waves.

These photos illustrate introspection in the face of internalized adversity by personifying oneself as a foreboding storm on the horizon. I believe that emotions come in waves, and to illustrate this metaphor, a reflective silver sheet was used as a recurring material that is seen engulfing the subject on their journey of self-discovery.
